REDEFINED: Louisville Area Fiber & Textile Artist redefine traditional Kentucky Coverlets, March 4 - May 13, 2023

The artist collective known as LAFTA (Louisville Area Fiber and Textile Artists)were invited to redefine traditional Kentucky coverlet patterns taken from Lou Tate’s first publication, Kentucky Coverlets, originally published in 1938. Participating artists included Joyce Anderson, Portia Brown, Karen Buckingham, Wendy Dunleavy, Becky Hunger, Diana Irvin, Mari Mujica, Saly Lackner, Kathleen Loomis, Beth Schnellenberger, Felice Sachs, Lori Sargent, Amy Sloboda, Sue Sobel, Maria Tinnell, Joanne Weis.
